Psychotherapy or ‘Behavioral Health’ services are generally covered under health insurance policies.  Some employers also offer EAP (Employee Assistance Program) coverage of limited therapy sessions.  A sliding scale is also available to those who do not have, or prefer not to utilize their health care benefits.

To assure that services will be covered under your insurance, and to determine your co-payment and deductible, please contact your insurance carrier.  Some insurance companies require a pre-authorization number, and they will give you a number when you call.  Please bring this information with you to your first appointment.  Co-payments or private payments are expected at the time services are rendered.
