Over 15 years of experience in social work have shown me life events occur in the context of personal story.  My goals are to create a safe place to share that story, and to facilitate the client in experiencing their story with deep compassion and respect. We will explore and highlight strengths, and using a multitude of interventions ranging from education, mindfulness, journal writing and dreamwork, find ways to enhance those strengths.

My office is located in the heart of downtown Richmond in Shockoe Bottom.  I am certified in Thanatology:  the study of death, dying, and bereavement.  I am also a certified supervisor for LCSW candidates.
