Suicide Prevention and Intervention

I am committed to preserving life.    I have worked with many individuals who have felt so overwhelmed by sadness, pain and loss that they consider suicide.  I have participated in many trainings related to suicide prevention, intervention, and grief related to suicide losses.  I have been trained as an ASIST suicide prevention provider and trainer.  

The loss of a loved one to suicide creates an especially challenging and painful course through grief.  My work with individuals and groups after a suicide loss allows me to share with clients the pitfalls, bridges, and ultimately the possible healing pathways.  There is no ‘forgetting’ or going forward along the same course after a loss.  The challenge is finding a course that incorporates loss, lessons, and love in ways that offer growth, empathy, and healing.
